A user can follow another user. This is a very method to watch specific user activity.

• Issues labeled as “good first issue”.
• Stared repositories.

blocks can remove all interactions. can use “soft blocks” for removing back links from accounts that are very clearly farming for links. I think they call this engagement hacking and it apparently applies to GitHub.
